Garver is a walking machine with pop, I kind of like him now.
Pitching sucks on the Road. Huge difference home #1 and Road in 20s.M's starters philosophy is don't walk guys. Good one to have. Can't give away free bases. But today Castillo walked 2 guys and both came in to score I believe. The pitching is fine overall. The goal is to get an offense like KC's while we have this good pitching. You can't rely on your pitchers to shut down every team all the time. Just can't do it, too much talent this is the big leagues. I'm not worried about the starters honestly.
If u have stats to back it up, go ahead. Are we okay to criticize Servais, or is someone going to come along and call me a knuckle dragging, mouth breathing casual?
Yet they are just 2.5 games better then Seattle. So Ms like to play baseball then too?KC has a scrappy high contact offense for a few years now. Well coached team. They like to put the ball in play. They like to play baseball.
Yep, not good. On other end, he is the best at 1 run win games.Mariners have blown a 7+ run lead 5 times under Servais. Most under one manager since 1995.
Yet, he has most 1 run win games in recent history. Seems clutch to me.Lack of killer instinct? I hate to blame the pitching for many issues this year but what does it say about them when their worst showing is when the other team needed it? There’s a phycology behind letting a team come back when you have a big lead. I’ve seen it in competitive things among my friends.
Theres a killer mentality you need to have that is comfortable having a lead and comfortable stepping on opponents necks. We clearly don’t have that.
He would get a payroll. Lol. It is why he wins more then expected more then anyone outside TB since 2018. And Yanks have 0 chips with Boone. 0 WS Appearances. Eliminated in 1st rd twice with 90+ win seasons plus one 100+ year. The Servais regime wouldn't last 2 seasons in Philly or New York.
Yet, if he didnt and witt homered off Baumann, you would be sobbing that servais didnt pitch Munoz in 8th.Great management once again by Servais. Bring in Munoz as the set up to have Baumann blow it in the 9th.
Eeyore we are just fine.It was smart on paper, but predictably backfired. Hate seeing the team get swept.
This season is over

I turned off the game, allowing the Mariners to score 3 in the 10th, and this is the thanks I get? There's no pleasing you guys.Yet, if he didnt and witt homered off Baumann, you would be sobbing that servais didnt pitch Munoz in 8th.
I know I wouldn't. Munoz isn't going to get 6 outs he's always going to come in the 8th or 9th.Yet, if he didnt and witt homered off Baumann, you would be sobbing that servais didnt pitch Munoz in 8th.
Lol interesting stats bother you into defense mode so easilySomething happening 5 times in the 1260 games Servais has managed for the Mariners doesn't seem like much of an indicator of anything to me. Also, Servais is currently the 3rd longest tenured manager so he's had more chances than most, and a lot more than many. And finally, the Rays also had 5 under Joe Maddon, so the "most under 1 manager" thing isn't correct.
