Might be time to send Kelenic down and activate Lewis. He should be ready to start his rehab assignment now (he's been playing in extended spring games). Even if you keep Kelenic up, with Haniger out it'd be good to get another capable bat up here.

I have hope for everyone in this offense except Kelenic. He simply looks lost. And to be fair, he needs a serving of humble pie. Even in his interviews he still thinks he is the guy to lead us to our first playoff berth in 20 years. The guy had his own brand before he even played in the majors. Cmon.

Julio on the other hand, he is a star.

Yeah, Kelenic not signing an extension deal with the Mariners early on might end being a good thing for this organization. I hope he turns it around but right now he is hurting this team not helping it. May be time to send him down and gain some confidence.

We've seen this before. Bring a guy up too soon and throw him into the fire, and sometimes they never really recover. Everyone was screaming bring him up, he's a lock down, sure thing, can't miss guy. They brought him up too soon last season, and then made him bat at the top of the order for two months before they finally sent him down to chill out a bit. It really isn't a good vibe around JK right now. I guess he's the best available option as far as defense, but he's a definite gap in the batting order. Maybe we should have the pitcher bat and use the DH for Kelenic.

The kid is in his own head.

The ball jumps off his bat the rare times he squares one up.

He needs to change his awful approach to AB’s and avoid 2 strike counts at all costs.

We've seen Kelenic play well at the end of last year. He's had his moments at the plate this year, and he's played an excellent right field. I'm not anywhere near ready to send him down. We're a month in to a ****** up offseason with a young player.

His defense in Right Field has been much better than expected. He has a gun unlike Moore that has a wet noodle for an outfield arm in comparison.

I think if Julio is heating up it’s a good sign as it’s less pressure on JK.

I’d hit JK 9th and tell him if he wants to hit higher he has to improve his approach/mindset to AB’s and start hitting to move up the lineup.
