Seahawks special teams were pretty good the last couple of seasons. I don't get why they let Izzo go.

I'm more than fine with Waldron and especially Hurtt being gone, but it seems to me the chance of getting somebody who will be as good as Izzo is not that good.

I think this move is all about coaching ties and philosophy. Macdonald has never worked with Izzo. If he brings in Jay Harbaugh, this is all about who he knows and who he trusts. Chemistry, synergy, whatever you want to call it.

My cousin is a teacher, her mother & father were teachers, 3 of her grandparents were teachers. Damn nepotism!
