In the article about Browner's suspension. First real confirmation I've seen.

The Seahawks will sign veteran Antoine Winfield to help replace Browner and Thurmond. Silver reports that another cornerback is also expected to join the team.

Browner is still out with injury whether he is suspended or not. We're going to sign him to replace Thurmond. We need a CB as we only have 3 on the roster.

Winfield signing has nothing to do with Browner's suspension issue.
