Not a glamorous signing but the guy is a pretty good special teamer and locker room presence.

I'd say Margos and Lemuel Jeanpierre are duking it out for "most unheralded Seahawk." Even guys like Frank "The Tank" Omiyale, Clint Gresham, Heath Farwell, Jaye Howard, and Charlie Martin got their 15 minutes of fame. These 2, not a peep. We salute you, Chris Maragos and Lemuel Jeanpierre. Real men of genius! Mr. Humble Team Player Guy!

He's been around for a couple years now and I literally know nothing about him. If ET ever gets hurt though it sounds like Maragos will be the guy

He had the muff punt recover against Chicago that the refs said Chicago possessed. One of the biggest flubs from the refs the entire year, and no one every talked about it.

Maragos got up with the ball and ran to the refs screaming at them.

He is the back up free safety. I wonder how big of a contract he got.

Probably signed his minimum level RFA tender . . .

In other words, pretty much nothing (for an NFL player)

His RFR RFA tender was for $1.32 mil./yr. , and that's a lot of cheese for a backup FS/ST player. I could see him being vulnerable to being cut if the team could find a rookie or younger player who'd play for less than half of what Maragos is tendered to be paid. I'd think the team might like to find a bigger but fast guy to be the backup FS.

Maragos was the last of the RFAs to sign his deal ( McDonald, Gresham , and Maragos).
