There should be some type of approval system for some of the posts we have around here. Come on Man!

Rock, if we are worried about our street cred and not offending folks that are in high places, how about keeping us from dumbing down the place?

BTW, who won the farging Bird debate? Where is PE when you need a good "Which player would you sleep with post?". I hope my employer never figures out who DrDiags is. hee hee ...

Absolutely ridiculous.

It's like getting some of your 15 minutes of fame through a completely ridiculous image of you doing something in high school.

I'd rather he show that than the uniform thread.

Yeah, we've got a fair bit of stank laundry I'm glad wasn't aired, haha. Imagine one of the more riveting QB threads from a couple years ago...Oh Lord...

I was only talked about for some stuff I said in the Gameday thread when apparently somebody was secretly watching. That was pretty funny to be reading through the headline articles on ESPN and see a bunch of quotes from "Sharkhawk" getting suicidal in the gameday forum.

Thankfully I made up for it when Sando wrote a nice story about how I had skipped a Hawks game to take my son to Disneyland as he was born and nearly died on opening day 2003 (in which we slaughtered the Saints by the way! GO BEN!) and all he wanted was to go to Disneyland for his 3rd birthday, which coincided with opening day against the Lions. It was the first Hawks game I had missed in my lifetime I believe... and it was a-ok. :)

Southerners think the world is holding them down. They hate the "Left Coast" and "the man" equally and see us as "elitists". It's just stupidity.

I'm glad somebody remembers that story. It was the high point of my life, aside from giving James Donaldson five as he left the court after a Sonics/Pistons game in the Kingdome when the Sonics were drawing 40,000.

Wow, watched the Nate Silver interview. Skip Bayless and Steven A. Smith REALLY don't like the idea of a statistician liking Seattle to get to the Superbowl, lol.

They kept trying to trip Nate Silver up with questions around intangibles. He worked both of them.

No doubt about it. I was living down south (ironic huh?) at the time and you sacrficing watching the team we all love for someone who is and will always be infanitely more important spoke volumes. That's why I remember that.

In the time I spent in southern Arkanasas, it felt like a different country, a different world, It's hard to describe.

It's cool for sure, but I'm not worried or bothered about the featured post. We're not a blog, so it's obvious this is a fan saying something, not a fanbase. The article made sure to point that out in a humorous fashion.

Any publicity is good publicity.
