By the time I got to the DOL office, about 10:30am today, I was #897. The person working there couldn't believe how fast they were going. They get mailed out so may be a week until they are in hand.

Ended up costing $72.75 + $3 credit card fee.

•Cars and trucks: $67.75
•Motorcycles: $49.75
•Trailers: $55.75
You may get personalized plates with a Seahawks background design for an additional $52.

To renew:
$30 special plate fee plus your tab renewal fees (Tab renewal fees vary by location and type of vehicle.)

Got there at 9am, and recieved 525. I guess part of the $30.00 fee goes to A Better Seattle, so it is fine with me.

How many are there total? I just woke up, and have to go to the DMV to renew my license today anyways. (I can't get there until like 4pm though)

Would be cool if they sold these as a replica plate for us living outside WA.

Got there at 9am, was about the 6th person in line. I didn't want a personalized one cause I figured all the good ones are taken, so I told the lady just give me a random number. After she submitted it, she started laughing hysterically and showed on of her co-workers who also started laughing. At this point Im in fear of the worst, like "49" or something else terrible.
She shows me the number and I couldn't be more stoked. "00420" :) Pretty fitting for WA State...

Too funny and good for you!

These plates look awesome! I already have a personalized plate on my motorcycle (it says "BEATLS"...motorcycles can only have 6 characters.....btw, if you ever seem me around say "Go Hawks!) and considering that plus how much smaller those plates are I don't think I'll get one for the bike. However, I'm very likely to buy a new(er) truck next fall so will likely get the Seahawks plates for it.

Pretty sure I remember 12 being auctioned off for charity.
