As pleasant as it is to see the whiners lose, I can't get too excited about a half game lead.

I mean there’s 10 games left but we certainly put put the league on notice. I like it better when we keep it low and work in the shadows but it’s a good start. Crazy how good they could actually be if they clean up a few mistakes. Go Hawks!!!

What has been rummaging through my mind is how we have flipped on close games. Instead of coming here on Monday thinking, "if only a few things had gone right, we would have won," we are coming here with "if only a few things had gone right, we would have blown them out." We are winning the close games.

Now is time to take that next step to, "If things hadn't gone right, we wouldn't have blown them out."

I absolutely DESPISE the 9ers with a passion. They have hands down the shitty fanbase in the entire NFL.

Much like in game, in the standings it is better to be ahead than chasing the leader, no matter how small the lead might be.

I think being in first after seven games will affect the team. I hope it makes them feel like, despite the gaffs against Houston, and losing games due to turnovers at the end, they are damned good, and if they tighten things up they could go a long way.
