With the majority of all the media, analysts, and fans telling the Seahawks they aren't good enough to beat the Broncos and picking against them is only going to HELP the Seahawks.

Silly America... give the team of angry/intelligent outcasts/misfits who were told they weren't good enough for this League another collective chip on their shoulders they can feed off of.

If "you" wanted Denver to win, "you" were better off hyping the Seahawks and putting them in a pressure cooker of weighted expectations to perform.

Idiots.

It is this team and the 12's against the country.....I would'nt have it other way. It's mind over matter, I don't mind and they don't matter.

-- This entire hate thing is so overblown. Yes, there are fans of all different teams who have a genuine dislike for us as a team and a franchise. However, the vast majority of what you call hate, is just someone giving their opinion on who will win the game. I "hate" the 49ers as a division rival, but I still picked them to beat Green Bay and Carolina.

My point is, people picking against the Hawks don't hate them, there are just elements of the matchups that they put in Denver's favor. I guarantee you, there are devout Seahawk fans out there who think we will lose, not because of fear or history, but there is some element they think Denver has an edge with. I am not one of those, I think we could overwhelm Denver. Prognostication is not HATE.

Today was really the first day this week that I could tell that there was definitely a large lean towards people and the media favoring the Broncos. I wasn't really able to finish certain shows because it just seemed like they were making seem like it was a forgone conclusion that Peyton and the Broncos were locks.

Okay, Hate is a strong word but it pretty much covers the basis of negativity towards the Seahawks.

Also, show me a devout 12 who believes we lose.

Our they are casual fans caught up in SB watercolor talk and are going with Papa Johns familiarity.

Denver fan here -- I'm not really picking up on the hate angle. There are tons of pundits predicting that the Seahawks D will win out too (Go to the Broncos boards-- those guys are just dying every time someone picks the Seahawks).

It's just a good matchup, the Unstoppable Force vs the Immovable Object, so it's hard to say there's any disrespect or hate in choosing one or the other. I just smh at those predicting a blowout-- both of these teams are too good to just fold under pressure.

The only real hate? SF fans who would like to see your whole team on stretchers, and NE fans who would rather sacrifice their first-borns than see Manning win another ring.

Prisco is my favorite. I've never really had anything against the guy even with the perception that he's notoriously anti-Seahawks, but his routine this week is comical. Picking the Broncos to win doesn't offend me in the slightest, as they are a more than worthy opponent, but spending all your time shining a light on every conceivable Seattle vulnerability (and perpetuating the LOB are cheaters BS) and completely ignoring Denver's points to some sort of agenda. Even the most ardent Denver homer wouldn't be so obtuse. And it's not like there's another columnist only looking at all of Denver's vulnerabilities.

I love the hate, bring it on, the more the better.
Agreed. Being the bad guy is liberating.

We are not the bad guys, we are the medias whipping boys, Although the Broncos have decided to start trash talking us from what I saw today, good, very good.

IMO, mind you I said opinion, I think all this media attention and fan attention manning and Co are getting will only effect them mentally as in they'll just play as in they've already got it locked up and sealed. And well our defense never played like that this year. They play until the final second. Other teams wear out quickly, a lot more then Seattle does.

I have more broncos on my fantasy board than hawks, we still win. And those were still good fantasy picks. We win ugly. Eff it we do what we do - W's are the only stat that matters at the end of the day.

For The Record:

There is something incredibly wrong with this world where it looks to disprove every nook and cranny of someones opinion or thought because of one singularity in a statement in a way where someone can be offended by a rather vague use of a word.

Like I said Hate is a strong word but I'm not using it in its emotionally charged extreme, in my OP, I didnt mention the word "hate" at all nor did I waste time portraying that narrative.

The use of the word was to simply paint the general variance of the negativity towards the Seahawks in all of its extremes, and not just imply its highest extreme.
