This definitely helps TN. Lots of unavoidable one-on-one matchups won't suck.

(But how about "traded to the Titans" in the title so that it's correct?)

You already need like 20 men in the box to stop Henry. That team is going to be ridiculous next season.

Nah, Henry had over 370 carries last season he will be out with an injury by week 5.

This deal says more about Cory Davis than anything else. A complete bust for the 5th overall pick.
Davis left in the offseason for the Jets. He was serviceable last season, but yeah still a disappointment for a 5th overall pick.

Henry had 303 in 15 games the season prior, plus an additional 83 in the playoffs and still had an MVP-caliber season in 2020. I know all metrics and science say he can't keep this up, but I'm starting to think he's going to be the exception to every rule. He's just built different.

Julio to Seattle made no sense from the beginning. And the next time I hear that Russ is hanging out or having conversations with an available big-name player, I’ll put no stock in it.

3 draft picks and his whole salary in a position we have two studs and a new draft pick expected to contribute right away plus a couple guys waiting to break in.

This would have been a luxury acquisition with little pay off unless we went 4 wide and three wide all the time, negating the TE's we acquired also.

Would've rather given up a 2nd+4th for Julio and his good contract than 1st+1st+3rd+McDougald for Adams.

People say they already have Eskridge, but they also already had Blair and McDougald (now Neal) at SS.

Florio opines that the Hawks' interest was to tell Russ that at least, oh well, they tried.

Florio is an idiot.

He is clickbaity at times...but is this not possible?

C'mon, this is not how PC/JS or the FO does it at all.

They splurge every now and then, like a cruise ship. Last big one was with JA. There was obviously an immediate need.

Which is...well less of an immediate need.

We get it, you hate Adams.

But wait.....the media said he was going to end up in Seattle :?
No, he never was going to end up here.
Yet the fans ate it up like BBQ. And Florio?? I wouldn't take 5 percent of what he says seriously. He's almost as bad as Cowturd at making stuff up.

Time this thread was moved somewhere else; it's not really Hawk news even if some fans wish it was.

The whole Julio Jones circus has had a Fantasy Football vibe to it IMHO. Not really discussions about how a player fits with a team or within their salary cap structure, just about piling on 'talent' whether needed or not.

Best case scenario, traded to AFC and not the Rams or Niners, or even Cards.

The only national NFL writer I hold in lower regard is Prickso. Florio, at least, as you say, is just click-baity nonsense. Prickso regularly shows an utter ignorance of football knowledge, arrogance when confronted for it, and a childish streak of holding grudges.
