I see Russ is actively recruiting FAs to Denver. They are putting together a rather impressive roster. Life in AFC west will be very interesting, and maybe unpredictable, this year. Denver's factor level is rising.
Meanwhile nothing visible is happening in Seattle lately.
So, when we play them this year we could be fielding a QB who was a failure in Denver, while Denver will field a QB who was trending downward in Seattle. I don't bet on football but I'd have a hard time convincing myself to put any money on us winning that game.

Keep sleeping on Lock. This kid loves the motivation

Looking at Denver's schedule I have a hard time trying to convince myself they'll win 7 games. For the Hawks 6 to 10 wins if the ball bounces right but the sky is the limit 2 to 3 years down the road. Draft capital ensures competing at a high level for many years to come

I think a bit of Russell’s fallacies are due in large part to the play calling. He’s definitely responsible as well but I see him doing much better in Denver’s offense when compared to ours.

With that said, I hope you’re right. A Hawks win and as many Bronco losses as we can get so those picks are up there!
I totally agree the play calling was an issue. But our OCs were a bit handcuffed by Russ. For his many positives, as with most any QB, there were also several negatives. Surely any OC would like to call more quick slants. Russ didn't have that pass in his bag of tricks. Russ himself, through physical inadequacies or what have you, gave the short to intermediate middle of the field to the defense. I'm not a big X's and O's guy but I can see how that in itself would really limit the options of an OC (and totally benefit the play calling of the opposing DC).

broncos will win the division. hawks will win no more than 4 games and it will be incredibly ugly.

Randy Gregory is the only one of notable difference but yeah Denver has holes all over that roster. They'll go from fourth place to fourth place as everyone in that division is much better than Denver at every position. Denver has average to below average players

I don't think Russ is the saviour of Denver and Lock probably is not for Seattle.

Denver 9
Seattle 7

Randy Gregory DE
D J Jones DT
Josey Jewell LB
Tom Compton OT
K Waun Williams CB
Alex Singleton LB
Calvin Anderson OT
J R Reed S
Billy Turner OT
Kareem Jackson S
Also a vet backup QB and a few others.
They aren't all big stars, of course, but they all have proven they can play a role. Russ is at least partly responsible for a few of the top guys on that list. A number of these guys are on one year deals.
I think they've done a pretty good job of plugging holes considering what they're spending for a QB, and their cupboard was not bare to begin with. They're going to be tough to deal with.

and you understand hypocrisy of calling somebody else a homer
And you understand stand the difference between being homer and s fan right? Let me help you a fan is able to look objectively at their team and its players, staff etc. To include the ramifications of players traded and released. A homet can not, they try to find any real or made up reason to ignore the truth about their team. As I said lots of homerism on this board. Seahawks as of now will be lucky to win 5 games. Denver will win 10+. Of course lots of time till regular season so things can change.

Wilson is going to be a mess, 3 - 4 defenses give him fits with a decent back end, the edges are going to go to his set up spots and have a drink on him, literally.

Can you explain how the Seahawks are ever going to intercept anything when the defence plays 5-10 yards off the receiver? (You know, just to make extra sure they don't get beat on the really, really big reception.)
I dont think they were playing that way to end the season. Will see whether they play more man in 2022

Not sure about that Chris, but I am sure that Ole Pete has been game planning for that Bronco game every night, just like how ole Pete game planned against New England every time we play each other.
