Never understood the road argument. And that goes both ways. Yeah you're 5-1 in the last 6 road games, but 4 of those road games were last year...irrelevant. This year, you're 2-0 on the road and that's all that matters. 5-1 in the last 6 road games don't matter. So don't use it. Detractors who use the 2012 road game record argument year, don't use it. If you do, you come across as someone who just doesn't understand how much can change in one offseason.

Then how can people use the narrative that the Seahawks are a bad road team. We are 2-0 on the road this year. You can't have it both ways. It makes no sense. Not as dominant as at home I can understand but that applies to every team in the NFL.
I wasn't using it, I was criticizing it. And no one is as dominant on the road as they are at home. I'm with you, 2-0 on the road this year. All that matters.

We bring up the 5-1 in the last 6 to combat the stigma that seems to be following us. In the grand scheme of things it is meaningless, it just is odd how they keep saying it about us.

Counting 3 road victories from last year is relevant. It showed this team has turned that corner and believe in each other and this years team is almost the same.

It not just a win, it is coming from behind on the road and overcoming the crowd, the other team, and a belief that you can get it done.

Seahawks are one of four teams in the league that are 2-0 on the road this year.
We're about to face on of the other three in their house. The other 2 are on the road to teams with 2-0 home records.

If we win, there's a good chance we become the only 3-0 road team in the league

Schlereth is, and has always been, a Seahawks hater.

Yep. His twitter feed was awfully active when we were down 20-3. Not so active when we came back and won.

Wait, what? I just watched Countdown Daily on ESPN.com, and Schlereth picked the Seahawks to win. Hedging his bets much?

Yes he did. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=9764163

I don't know why this isn't what everyone is talking about. On countdown he picks the hawks, but on the radio he picks the colts. How is his credibility not being completely ridiculed right now?

I heard him on the radio several times and he picked the Seahawks every time.

Our offense/defense always take the first 2 quarters off in those road games. But I don't know if there has been a more dominant offense/defense on the road from the third quarter on.
Panthers were shut down completely in the second half against us.
Houston barely went across midfield in the second half against us, same for Washington in the playoffs.
After being down 3 scores to Atlanta, we destroyed them in the second half to take the lead. Best second half performance by any team in the playoffs ever. Only a miscue allowed them to come back and win almost at the buzzer. We were missing our best DE (Clemons).
If it is true that those wins aren't easy, it is simply phenomenal how we beat up on teams in the second half at their own places.
And when our offense manages to start strong (against the Bills last year), then we just blow them out in front of their own fans.
Most teams get blown out on the road ... we haven't been blown out on the road. Since last season, We have been in every game on the road going into the fourth quarter and have even taken the lead with 5 minutes or less to go (Miami, Detroit, Chicago, Carolina, Arizona) ...
I don't know what's the definition of a great road team, but our team give us reasons to watch until the last minute.
