He needed some reps. Just about every team played starters at least a little bit. You can't just call something dumb or stupid every time someone gets hurt in the pre-season.

Timing seems odd to me...I don't see a lot of talent here and many, many cuts coming the next 2 days. Weird.

Almost every starter in the league plays the first series in the third preseason game. That's where Nwosu got hurt. Just bad luck.

As far as Gipson...meh, we might as well have just kept Taylor.
Gipson is considered a more complete player while maybe not getting garbage time sacks like Taylor , he'll set the edge . I like this move.

I also read that Nwousu will be out approximately 6 weeks with a MCL strain.

They should take that scrub POS from the browns and give his game checks to Nwousu until he can recover and get back with the team.

Players put in work all summer building team chemistry and fine tuning their skill sets. As a coach, you kind of what to reward them for all their hard work and let them play a bit.

You felt the energy in the building. That place was electric.. for a PRESEASON GAME! It's unfortunate though as potential injuries are a risk you take.

I think we were pretty smart with how we put our guys in, in terms of limiting risks to starters. Again, a series (or 2) in the last preseason game is pretty much NFL standard, so it's hard to really call out the coaching staff for pulling a fairly normal move.

Again, there is arguments to be said, for and against, but one series of starters (while still keeping a number of players with more extensive experience, injury concerns, or simple playing in a position of extensive wear and tear) doesn't really read like a huge risk to me.

Alway

I hated playing against John Alway, he killed us.
Yup, John Always killed us. Except that one game in Denver where Krieg hit Daryl Turner with an 80 yard TD bomb on the first play.
Then IIRC we won because their kicker shanked a gimme at the buzzer.

well.. this has got to be the most ignorant post ive seen to start the season.. this post itself is pretty dumb.
Wait... Dumb is your response. Ignorant is how you treat fellow fans. We should not normalize this type of behavior to each other.
