Why exactly to people think this is going to be a break out week for the Hawks when the Lions just last Monday only gave up 13 points to the Bears at home?

-Long week for the hawks vs short week for the lions.
-Gut feeling PC is going to start to open up the offense over the second half of the season, starting Sunday
-Stafford isn't playing well....likely will force the ball and get frustrated against Hawks D. They will score on defense this week
-The lions defense is horrible. Ya, Chicago scored 13 against them..... but Chicago played incredibly different once they were up and Cutler was taking shots.
-The lions DBs are AWEFUL. Name me one that is good? -lions have the look of a team that has given up on the season. Their HC is likely to get fired this month.
-TENN scored 44 on them, its not like you can't put up points because Chicago didn't

They have Alphonso Smith. My favorite CB in the league not on the Seahawks. Much of the defenses sucess these last 3 years can be attributed to him.

I wouldn't say the Lions D is awful, they're #5 in total team D. Of course that stat is a little misleading since they've already had their bye week. So I wouldn't expect a breakout game for the Hawks offense but with Nate Burleson out for the season the Lions O becomes much more predictable than it already was without an effective run game. Hawks win 24 - 17.

Wondering if Harbug's crybaby BS to the league about our corners will have the refs scrutinize them a little more than usual. If that is the case, then the Lions offense will get a ton of yards due to penalties. Hopefully Browner will cover loose to avoid a flag but tight enough to keep Stafford from throwing his way. And if he does, then I expect Browner to lay down one of his signature SMACKDOWN tackles.

Stay tight in the flat and across the middle, let ET do his thing down field and Irvin and Clemons rush the pass like their lives depended on it and this defense will straight shut down the Lions O.

Breno stops drawing flags for holding and false starts. And if Okung remembers the snap count as well our offensive penalties will be next to nil (they are improving though and I like it!). The dropped pass issues end and Lynch does what he was born to do and this offense will destroy the Lions D.

Seattle could EASILY score 40+ points regardless of the fact that they are playing early and on the road and I just can't see the Lions putting up much at all if the defensive holding and PI is a no issue on Browner and Sherman.

Could be a high scoring game for the Seahawks and could likely become a boring game during the 4th quarter when the Lions seem to have given up.

23-13 HAWKS.

I think for the most part it's going to remain a close game, I think Seattle jumps off to an early lead and hangs on for the entire ride.

-Number 4 and number 9 do work this game!

-I expect a big game out of Bobby Wagner, maybe even getting his first INT against one of the games best.

-The Beast will feed, allowing Wilson to get back on track, and putting up a really good QBR in the process (best of the season I hope).

I can also see this game coming down to Wilson getting the ball back with about 75-85 yards to drive, a little over two and a half minutes left in the game. Driving down field with the help of a decently long Lynch run, setting up Wilson to take a stab at the end zone for a 25-35 yard touchdown pass. Leaving a little lass than a minute on the clock for the Lions. This situation (not the outcome) seems to be the norm for this team.
