Good for him, can't pass up that kind of coin. He was a super sub who by all accounts was the 'good soldier' type. I liked him but he rarely saw the field due to the talent ahead of him.

This is great imo. I don't think we were retaining Mcdonald or Scgofield regardless but with the contracts they are signing we will be getting some nice comp picks.

That's good money for him. Teams are looking for guys in our mold and hoping they pan out, it appears. They must figure if they're good enough to play for this Defense, they're good enough for theirs

Look at the deals we gave to Avril and Bennett last year, then look at the deal we gave to Bennett this year, and now compare these deals to what D-line players' are getting this year. I worship JS & PC. Geniuses!

Schofield provided us much needed depth early in the season, but by the end of the year, I had honestly forgotten we even had him. Kudos to him for being able to turn that into a great deal.

I think he was a pretty unheralded guy on our team, but I mean, he couldn't even crack the game-day roster most weeks. How many Inactives did he have? Now gets $4M/year? Wow....stunned.
