The thing I love is that as long as Paul Allen is owner, Schneider won't be going anywhere if it's just a matter of money. We could give him $20 million a year, and I don't think Paul Allen would even wince. :thirishdrinkers:

Exactly. If he loves the city, fan support, his baby (who he has grown into a annual contender), and finally some long deserved National accolades he won't be able to leave. Paul can easily match any offer without blinking an eye

Schneider deserves his shine! Glad to see someone besides us talk about how brilliantly he has orchestrated this team's rebuild...4 yr plan right? Looks like everything is going according to plan

One of my life dreams is to have a 1 hour sit down with someone like John Schneider or Alex Anthopoulos (diehard Blue Jays fan here) and just pick their brain. I have a feeling I'll be a better, smarter person for it.

Seriously though, the dude is money. If he adds Winfield to the fold as well as having another rockstar draft? When does construction on the John Schneider statue out in front of the CLink begin? You'd have to build that thing like the Statue of Liberty or like one of the statues for Kim Il Jong, hundreds of feet tall.

The fans are kind of taking on the personality of their coach. Out of proportion anger at any perceived slight.

No joke. Schneider is working his way towards becoming the best paid GM in the NFL. He has become the benchmark by which you judge an NFL front office. Paul Allen knows it and is likely willing to pay whatever it requires to keep the man happy, and most importantly, in the Seahawks' front office.

The article is acknowledging the good work JS has done, no one is 'getting ahead of ourselves'. Nothing wrong with celebrating some praise for our GM by national media. Which up until this point has been really rare.

Personally, I'm ready for 60 ft statues of Wilson, Schneider, and Carroll!

Wilson's would only be 59 feet.
