Scheduling Nonsense

Why can’t we know when the game is happening until after the Steelers - Texans game?

Both SF and Seattle have better records.

Dancing for ratings and f’n the fans of both teams around. Sometimes being honest with the fans who pay to go to the games would be refreshing.

Because doing it this way increases ad revenue while not hurting ticket sales, the latter of which is a drop in the bucket to them anyway.

love that the 9ers get a short week after getting pummeled by Philly. No excuses not to take them to the woodshed.

To me it just points out how little the league considers the fans, and only considers the money, only the money.

All of us with lives to work around can just go whistle, we can wait to sort things out while “They” decide which game will have the best ratings. We simply don’t matter to the NFL. It’s horse sheet but it’s real.

Magically they knew once the Stealers lost, Quelle Suprise, the best ratings football game would be 49ers at Seahawks for “Saturday Night” but they already voted Rams at Chicago for Sunday. We’re number 2.

Happy to know the time of the game after all the hotels in Seattle are now charging 2x the regular room rates as a result of the confusion created by this institutional greed, and the opportunity created by the NFL. Living 300 miles away of course we had to book two nights. Without fans the games are truly irrelevant, without fans the league becomes just another entertainment opportunity with arguably skewed outcomes.

We are all sheep. This sheep is going the game on Saturday night, to watch the Hawks advance to take on the chosen team of the Chicago - Rams who despite all odds will win because it’s our time. The narrative on Darnold will improve. Defense wins championships!

While I was hoping for the early game, it just makes too much sense, it had to be Hawks/29ers

Good points, Jammer. They ALWAYS make people wait, it's pathetic. There is NO way they didn't already know that the Hawks would be a 5pm game. Just f'ing tell people. Always making us beg for info. Same sh** they pull with the schedule. They tell you it's coming out.......then they move it up a day. I mean, they have "Schedule Release" shows. Just f'ing tell us. A LOT of people need to make their plans if they're coming from out of town, out of state, out of country. IF they have to wait, which they did, now they have to scramble for accommodations, maybe move flights, etc. JFC man.
