With a lot of the preseason talk surrounding the number of 10AM games, I was interested in looking at it further. I am now of the belief that the schedule actually favors the Seahawks this year. Counting todays game, there are only 7 traditional Sunday afternoon 1:00 games. Because of the Thursday and Monday and 10:00AM games, this team will not have the "luxury" of settling into that early afternoon pattern of games.
This team is clearly exhibiting signs of consistency that truely great teams have. PC was able to maintain that level of consistency at USC. Road woes? This team has won 4 of their last 5 on the road including playoffs. And they have now won 10 of their last 11 overall. The complacency that may have been a part of previous Seahawk teams regarding 10:00 AM starts should not be an issue this year. They simply don't have the number or consistently traditional 1:00PM Sunday games to fall into that trap.
