The NFL needs to change the rule of allowing a home team to wear white whenever they want to. It's bs when it's hot, they wear white and make the road team wear dark unis.

Yep. I told my family(all Lions fans) that they would end up wearing their home jerseys on Sunday. They didn't believe me but sure enough, that's what happened. It told them that they pulled that shit on Seattle last season.
I think it's bullcrap that they are allowed to do this.

We live in New Orleans, but family is from San Diego. I would take playing in an all black uni in San Diego over playing in all black anywhere else. They didn't lose that game due to fatigue from not wearing white jersys, they lost because San Diego outplayed them. Throw in the fact that SD had the ball for 38 min, while Det. only had it for 21 min. That might have caused fatigue, but it wasn't from the color of their clothes in 78 degree weather.

I watched the game and yes SD outplayed them but I also saw that it was 100 degrees on the field, not 78 like you say. I still think it's BS that teams are allowed to do this and SD takes advantage of it every year.

That's silly.

If that's your opinion, throw in Miami, Jacksonville, Tampa, Carolina, and you could make a case for every outdoor stadium team in September where it can get hot.

Exactly. And why stop at uniforms, why not force the crowds to be quiet during the game, and make both lockerrooms equal in size and comfort.

This is called home field advantage for a reason.

Home team has the right to pick jersey, just like the winner of a coin toss gets to choose to kick or receive.

By the logic of forcing a home team to wear their home jersey, you should also force the coin toss winner to receive the opening/overtime kick off.

Maybe they should start penalizing teams crowds who are loud as well? Its not fair that the home team gets that advantage either in that sense.

Home teams are suppose to have an advantage. It is what it is...
