Yes, Tom was able to have his balls rubbed out a special way that made them soft and easy to grasp, add the fact he had a really quick release and they were deflated helped him out a lot.

And, hand size does matter. Otherwise they wouldn't measure them at the combine. DeAndre Hopkins had 10" hands and caught everything that got near him.

Russell Wilson had hands that were 10.25 inches. (That's HAND size...)

Micah Parsons: The linebacker's hands measure 11 inches.

Rob Gronkowski & Dak Prescott: Both have 10.88-inch hands.

Will Levis: The quarterback has the largest hands among active quarterbacks at 10.63 inches.
