I missed the game due to work. For those of you that watched, how did he do? I see the stats, but I'd like to hear what folks on our beloved .net thought about our ginger signal caller.

I missed the game too. Gonna have to see it on a replay. Not to derail the thread but on an aside, really sounds like BMurph had a hell of a game.

I'm curious about Darnold as well. Also the playcalling. Seen some highlights and looked pretty good.

One pick was clearly a brain fart by him. The other was a tipped ball. Probably partly his fault.

Made a few very good plays. Overall was solid and didn’t have any really geno-esque plays.

Overall I grade it a B effort

One bad throw to Kupp that Jalen Ramsey picked off. Darnell kept his head and emotion in the game, and made several nice throws. Played like a leader today.

He showed his strengths which are quick and decisive throws in the middle of the field and bootlegs off play action. The deep ball to essentially clinch the game to JSN was a beauty too.

We saw flashes of what he can be at his best. It was encouraging for the most part

He was good when he needed to be. Showed some giraffe-like agility and had some great tight window throws. Pretty one dimensional as he is a mostly nonexistent rushing threat. B sounds about right.

Darnold needs to work on his throw-away moves, but he made some very nice plays during the game yesterday. However they happen you always work on eliminating turnovers. It is usually overlooked though that a lot of ints are charged to the QB when they rightfully belong to the intended receiver.
We are getting better and I applaud the entire team effort to come back after the Stealer barrage to end the first half. Love that Darnold and the guys forced a rewrite to the Stealers history of winning 14 in a row when leading at the half.

HORRIFIC play call. I was excited about the new OC. Now? I don't what the hell to expect from him. Get better, son.

I thought Darnold looked good. He might have been pushing a little in the 1st half, but he was hitting his back foot on 3 step drops and getting the ball out.

If we can continue to give him a pocket and his WRs stay on time, I think he’ll just continue to get more surgical.

His deep shot to JSN looked just like the throws he was making to Jefferson last year under Kevin O’Connell’s genius (ie, the same throws I didn’t see in last night’s Viking game).
