You can see the narrative about Darnold changing in the media. I mean it HAS to at this point. He slayed his demon (the Rams) twice when it really mattered. The last time in spectacular fashion when he outdueled Stafford for the right to go to the SB. Brady contributed to that when he pointed out that it's pretty unfair to judge Darnold on learning the Peyton Manning offense as a 21 year-old. Now that doesn't mean he won't melt down in a future game, but that's the same for EVERY QB (including Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, etc.) in the league. In other words, he won't be perfect going forward, but he has now demonstrated the ability to be so when the bright lights are at their brightest. That matters, and everybody saw it. Now if he gets the job done in two weeks, particularly with an MVP, its an exclamation mark on all of it.
