Passer Rating: 90.7 (2nd)
Yards:: 1,432 (2nd)
Yards/Attempt: 6.2 (4th)
TD passes: 13 (1st)
Interceptions (fewest): 3 (1st)
Completion %: 59.5 (2nd)

Now, before anyone misconstrues the purpose of this post... I'm not here to proclaim that Sam Bradford has established himself as the best QB in the NFC West, or that he is a future All-Pro.

Rather, these numbers are directed to those who have proclaimed him a "bust" or suggested that the Rams need to draft another QB in next year's draft.

These numbers certainly belie those conclusions. If he keeps up this pace, I think it would be fair to say that some here have underestimated Bradford.

Won/Loss record is not a QB stat. This is football, not baseball.

So if Sam Bradford has performed like a "middling QB" in 2013, how would you describe Russell Wilson's performance?

(My answer: both have performed as above-average QBs in 2013.)

Those are his rankings relative to other NFL West QBs? I'm not sure what point that proves. Palmer is having a mediocre year and Kaep got off to a horrendous start. Wilson played several games without his starting LT, RT, C and TE. So, Wilson is basically #1 right now w/o an O-line while Bradford is putting up STATS that are slightly better than two QBs who are greatly under-performing. That makes him a franchise QB?

Right... its all Wilson. It has nothing to do with the fact that Seattle has the 3rd leading rusher in the NFL and the No. 2 ranked defense.

So... if Bradford were the Seahawks' QB this year, you're saying that the Seahawks would be 3-3 and likely to miss the playoffs, while Wilson, if he were the Rams' QB would be leading them to the postseason?

If Bradford was the Seahawks' QB, he'd have been on IR for several weeks by now

I have no problem saying we could easily be 3-3 with Bradford as our QB. With Bradford, we're basically the Houston Texans (2-4). And yes, I think Wilson could take that Rams team to at least a Wildcard birth.

I have been impressed with his lack of mistakes, considering he has very little run game support.

The completion percentage is OK, the YPA needs to go up by a yard, and his body language when things aren't going good has been awful. He needs to improve his leadership.

Are you going to post that nonsense every time I happen to post after a Rams win? (I've posted after their losses too, but I guess I didn't notice that).

So he's a sub 60% checkdown artist? Congratulations.

He isn't bad. But he isn't worth anything near the pre-CBA number one overall pick contract he plays under. What does he get if he becomes a UFA tomorrow?

The reason we are delighted with Wilson is because he is costing us $500k this season.

Look at the YPA. Awful.

Rams:

Total offense: 30th

PPG: 15th

What were you saying again?

Given that the fruit is commonly grown in the Pacific Northwest, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you're a cherrypicker.

Okay, so we've established that you're a crazy person, or just dishonest.

Good to know.

But you did talk shit, just in your passive aggressive way. "Der, bradford would be 5-1 if he played for the Hawks" or some passive aggressive version of the same thing. Bradford would be in traction if he played for the Hawks right now.
