Go Europe! :irishdrinkers:

Think USA have got this one. I know golf doesn't get a lot of love on here so expect this one to go down like a lead balloon.

I was JUST creating a Ryder Cup topic. Right on. Go USA!!!

I think in the morning matches, Spieth/Reed, and DJ/Kuchar win outright, Rory/Sullivan win outright, and the other match gets halved.

Hoping Spieth and Reed crap the bed, any pairing with DJ has to be feared right now, plus Kuuuuuuuuuch is playing some solid golf.

Feel good about Rose and Stenson. Couple of dudes with nerves of steel.

I loved Danny Willett's brother's twitter rant. Great stuff.

Excited for this. Getting alot of attention out here in the Twin Cities, obviously.

Good start so far. Might come away from the first pairings with no less than 2 1/2 out of 4.

Lol. Looks like 4-0.

Some inspired golf by the Americans, and some really ugly stuff from Europe.

This is bad though and playing right into Europe's hands of waking up Sunday morning needing to win 6 of 8 singles matches........and doing it.

No chance. I can see Europe putting up 6 points or less.

That's just what they want you to think!

The Euros lull us into a false sense of security, then BAM! Ian Poulter is channeling the ghost of Seve Ballesteros and before you know it Darren Clarke is naked and drunk passed out in the 17th bunker.

Nothing will ever come close to the miracle at Medinah, but I guess Minnesota fits?

Could be 5-3 by end of the 4 ball, the way it stands.

Like what I am seeing so far.....But whoever said about someone in the bunker nekkid....is very very sick indeed. I was gonna stream it but they said to take off the adblocker. I said no thanks then. They are simulcasting commercials with the golf..I dont really appreciate that with my golf.

Anyhow, Go USA.

Why are people shouting 'Cheeseburger' when the European players tee off?

Is that supposed to be funny?

It's not.

Don't be salty at being down 3 points.

Some disappointing crowd behaviour aside, this has been an exciting Ryder Cup thus far. Wish a couple of our guys would rise to it like Pieters, Mcllroy and Rafa have. 7 1/2 points needed, not impossible.

Pieters had been a joy to watch.

The US should be more talented in about 9 matches tomorrow, but probably have less guts in 9 also. I hope it isn't an interesting day. Hoping the Hawks can get on with it quickly son can focus on the matches.

Congrats USA.

The Westwood and Kaymer picks didn't look smart at the time and certainly don't now. Hoping Pieters kicks on, he's been excellent.

I think a lot of Americans became fans of Reed over the weekend. Despite his occasional a-hole tendencies, the guy is simply born for match play.

Was nice to see Ryan Moore get a win as well. I believe he played Westwood? Terrible pick there by Clarke.

Rory vs Reed and Phil vs Sergio were epic. So glad Reed was able to beat Rory. Americans looked good hopefully this will carry over in 2 years, should be a lot of the same guys on that team.
