Russ was on point last night and, once again, proved he is invaluable to this team. He'll probably want one throw back (which Jimmy could have given a much better effort to come back to and at least break up), but was masterful the rest of the night. He's been dialing it in and the o-line has really progressed the last two games from what I can see.
If we can get a reliable running game going RW is going to light it up like it's late 2015.
Actually, both of those intercept's were JG targets, the first one looked like he actually got a hand on the ball.
A lot of the slow starts aren't always Russell Wilson's fault, it's a TEAM sport, and the O-Line has it's fair share of the blame, for not even giving him minimal protection.
It looked to me like Cable and his O-Line was forced to shift gears, in the second half, Pete looked to have some angst about being embarrassed in front of the home crowd, he appeared to be chewing on Bevell's butt on the sidelines, and the play-calls went into overdrive.
I for one hope they continue with the power blocking scheme,(second half of 2015 season style) and that we see less of the faltering ZB going forward.
Getting the ball out a little quicker in a decent passing attack should open up the Run Game, and in turn, give Russell Wilson a bit fewer hits and hurries.
