Papaki has the ever so powerful 15-29 year old turtle loving demographic and the unwavering loyal support of every Niner fan that has suffered Tim Rattay, Garcia and the gunslinger Alex Smith.

Niner fans couldn't buy a QB jersey for years without embarrassment, now they are making up for lost time.

I just don't get the infatuation with Cap as a #1 level guy. Does he have talent? Absolutely. Raw, natural talent with gazelle-speed. If you are paying close attention, you see Russ is heads and shoulders the complete package over him from leadership, preparation, character, intelligence...AND the dude is a baller on top of that.

Oh well...The whole world will soon see for themselves...

Separation is in the Preparation after all.

What makes you think Kaepernick doesnt have great "leadership, preparation, character, intelligence?" I hope he ends up struggling this year as much as any other Seahawk fan but to act like this dude is doing nothing but riding on his great physical talent is wrong. As far as leadership and preparation goes he had a team camp for some of the receivers in Atlanta just like Russ had one in Cali, I also remember him taking complete blame after the loss of the superbowl, those aren't things that bad leaders and lazy players do. Not to mention he had a 4.0 gpa at Nevada and scored a 37 on the wonderlic, so I think its safe to say he's not as dumb as you guys think.

His jersey sales being higher than Russell's isn't that surprising he plays in a bigger market and just played in a superbowl.

You're right, I don't know the guy. I'm going off of perception and perception tells me Russell Wilson is heads and shoulders the man, the leader Colin is. Maybe it's the way he carries himself off the field...Wearing another team's cap (who does that in the NFL?), he just comes off as a punk. His reaction to that hat went a very long way in showing me he has a lot of ground to cover to be the leader Russell Wilson is. Perhaps he does study as hard as Russ but somehow I doubt it. I believe Russell Wilson is special in every way. As in, once in a lifetime special. That's not a knock on Kaepernick, just a statement to what I believe is a special, special player.

I think Colin will be a fine nemesis through his talent alone. But as far as being the leader, the man, the special person Russell is? I ain't buying what you're sellin'.

It's temporary. Once Wilson and the Hawks start winning multiple Lombardi's, RW3 will be the top seller and it won't even be close!

2nd is pretty incredible considering the sheer amount of 49er bandwagoners.

You're trying to say that there aren't any Seahawks bandwagon fans now?

By default a franchise without Lombardi's has little bandwagoners. And the reverse of that is any Seattlites who root for teams with multiple Lombardi's are, and rightfully, treated as slimy oppurtunists. I wish nothing less that knee-cap cancer on all those types.

Kaep gets 49er fans and also a large amount of the wannabe gangsta mentality crowd. Wilson is a much more conservative type but may spread across a larger demographic buyer base. Longevity going forward I think both will sell a lot of merchandise, it will flip flop depending on who wins what and who makes a name for himself as a across the board player that is reachable in the media, commercial, merchandise wise.

The wonderlic is a terrible "gauge" of intelligence. I've taken the wonderlic a dozen times, and scored wildly different on different ones. The first few I struggled because I didn't realize what the test was designed for. Once I realized what the test is all about, I score between 40-50 consistently, because I know how it's graded.

Who is bandwagoning the Seahawks? Seriously?

Meanwhile the 49er fan base was f'n invisible all of 3 years ago. Now you guys are everywhere.

Don't even go near the bandwagon conversation. What a joke. The Steelers, 49ers, cowboys BY FAR have the most bandwagoners. It's not surprising though.. they have the most super bowl wins... so of course all the n00bs and casuals are going to hop on their D.

Last year I never saw so many 49er emblems on peoples guns and calling cards in Black Ops 2 in my life.

Also, Jemelle Hill, the annoying double chinned lady on ESPN is from Detroit but rides Kaepernick's dick as if he's the last man on Earth only because he plays for "her team". I can't even imagine the praise Wilson would be getting if he played for San Fran or New York....
