Which ones should be targeted and what round? We need a bruiser imo to take over for Carson and in the event Penny was just a 4 week splash.

I think Kenneth Walker III can have a Jonathan Taylor-like impact early in his career, although that'd most likely be a second-round investment.

I think they will draft RB, but probably not until day 3. Too many other holes to fill IMO.

There's a lot of tough, tone-setting-type runners in this draft. They should get a good one in the 3-5 range. In addition to those mention above:

Dameon Pierce, Florida
Brian Robinson, Jr., Bama
Jerome Ford, Cincinnati (I love this dude's highlights)
Tyler Allgeier, BYU
Kevin Harris, S. Car
Tyrion Davis-Price, LSU
Hassan Haskins, Mich. State

Breece Hall, Iowa State, 2nd-3rd round.
Yes on Breece Hall ^ ^ , though I wouldn't try stretching to the 3rd round.
I think the RB is the second or third most important position on Offense >(QB--LT--RB).
My reasoning? = RW had 'The Beast' to help keep Defenses honest, it also helped give Wilson more than the usual 2.4 seconds to get a pass off, as the Defenses couldn't just pin its ears back and T-Off on the passer.
Wilsons' 'Sand Lot' scrambling became less & less effective at buying him time for his Receivers to come open, and the three & outs were becoming more & more frequent, Wilson is/was PHENOMINAL but like it or not, RW Fans, he REALLY NEEDED/NEEDS the RUN GAME to MAXIMIZE his effectiveness.

Another two highly physical backs to check out:
Zonovan Knight, NC State. He could be talked about as one of the top backs if not for a shoulder surgery. If his medicals are good now then this could be a huge value pick.

Zamir White, Georgia. Aggressive, decisive back who hits the hole very quickly and was highly productive in college. He seems like a huge steal with many analysts mocking him in the 5th-6th rounds.

Hall or Walker, round 2. Normally I wouldn't want to take a RB that high, but we have two picks in round 2, so I'm OK with it.

You all missed. Its Spiller in the 2nd round. Just shy of Barry Sanders running and can catch. Big, fast and had a bad combine so he might slip to the Hawks in the 2nd.

Anybody thinking Hall or Walker is making it past early 2nd round is crazy. My ten minutes of research has them both gone by #40.

Walker could be available in the 2nd round when the Hawks pick. Hall is likely not. Dameon Pierce is possibly still in the 3rd and that would be good value. I think Seahawks are among those teams who get value with drafting an RB earlyish as they will depend on the run game a lot. So maybe it’s justifiable to get one already on the 2nd round… pierce is maybe my favorite outside the top 2.

Zander Horvath, Purdue. Could be a steal late. Big, fast, catches the ball.
