He is a really talented player. Considering all the draft capital they have, it would make a lot of sense for the 49ers. I really hope the Browns just hold onto him though

I wish that the FO would offer our 1st for Gordon. We won't be picking until the end of the 1st anyways. All of our biggest playmakers (except ET and RO) have been drafted in the later rounds. The only thing I couldn't answer is "Who would they release?"

Getting rid of LMJ while Gore is 30 doesn't seem like the most prudent move long term. And what happens if Gore gets hurt this year? They got Hunter and then nobody. Anthony Dixon? Come on. Their season would be over.

I guess it would be an exciting move for them for the next few weeks, though.

Lattimore?

They restarted his rehab when they drafted him, more than likely to stick him on PUP and not use a roster spot on him, but he was already running (gingerly, but running) back at the draft. The kid could be a BEAST.

There's no doubt Lattimore is talented. Unfortunately, there's as good a chance that he wrecks his knee(s) again as there is of him becoming a beast. He was definitely a low-risk, high-reward draft choice, but I don't know if I'd pencil him in as the future.

Who is Bob and why is he incarcerated? Doesn't seem like he'd get too much info from a jail cell. Dismissed.

Why the hell would the Browns want to trade Josh Gordon anyways? Do they think good receivers just grow on trees??

Wow. Gordon will do well in that SF offense. As long as he's Kaep's 1st read, that is. This isn't good news for the rest of the NFC. Not such bad news for us, IMO. The worst part of this, IMO, is IF SF gets him for 1 2nd and James, SF is getting a steal. James isn't going anywhere as a legit back. He's too slight and gets blown up too much for an injury prone back. Scary in the open field, for sure, but guys like LMJ seldom last and that's why they drafted Lattimore. I wouldn't give anything more than a 5th for LMJ, if that. So if they get Gordon for basically a low 5th and a low second, I think it would be a score for SF.

The Browns should hold out for a 1, IMO. That would give them 3 1s in this new cap friendly era. They'd be instantly explosive by adding Manziel (or better, Mariota) Marquise lee and D'Anthony Thomas. Not necessarily my favorite picks, but examples to consider. I like what the Browns are doing and more teams should follow suit. Out with the old, in with the new.

This is what I was just about to post. The guy is 22 years old and is the best WR on the team...how does this make sense...They trade him because of the future even though he is the future? Wouldnt you want to keep a guy that is 22 and playing well on your team. Has he been doing bad things or saying bad things outside of the games?

Are they going to trade him for a draft pick and then pick a WR even though he has been productive? I just dont get this trade at all. At least the Richardson trade made sense.

They're not worried about his talent, they're worried about him having failed 5 drug tests in 4 years. They're worried because even after he failed the last one and was going to be suspended for a year for his next infraction, he was still out partying every night. He was still getting pulled over for driving 100mph. The new coaching staff also doesn't like that he doesn't pay attention in meetings and dogs it on the practice field.

For the Browns, with Trent Richardson I think it was about football skill at the NFL level (and boy, every week the Browns look more and more like they got a total steal. With Gordon, it's basically about everything EXCEPT for football skill. :)

League just needs to remove marijuana from the banned substance list. I mean, c'mon, it's legal in two states with more to follow soon enough.

It's looking like they flat-out beat up Indy and stole their lunch money in the Trent Richardson trade. Nobody else thinks maybe they know something everyone else doesn't in regards to Gordon?

Incarcerated Bob is a proven fraud. Why are people still linking to his BS?

I thought the same when I read "confirmed by Bob." Actually I didn't think. I lol'd. Or l'dol.
