Wow. Gordon will do well in that SF offense. As long as he's Kaep's 1st read, that is. This isn't good news for the rest of the NFC. Not such bad news for us, IMO. The worst part of this, IMO, is IF SF gets him for 1 2nd and James, SF is getting a steal. James isn't going anywhere as a legit back. He's too slight and gets blown up too much for an injury prone back. Scary in the open field, for sure, but guys like LMJ seldom last and that's why they drafted Lattimore. I wouldn't give anything more than a 5th for LMJ, if that. So if they get Gordon for basically a low 5th and a low second, I think it would be a score for SF.
The Browns should hold out for a 1, IMO. That would give them 3 1s in this new cap friendly era. They'd be instantly explosive by adding Manziel (or better, Mariota) Marquise lee and D'Anthony Thomas. Not necessarily my favorite picks, but examples to consider. I like what the Browns are doing and more teams should follow suit. Out with the old, in with the new.
