I think Pete would love to take the job since he likely feels there is some unfinished business there after how it ended for him last time he was their HC.

I could see that. Pete would be excellent there. Too bad they need a quarterback, but defense is already legit. Hopefully they lose all the rest of their games and get a top five QB pick.

Did someone read an article from 1994 and not realise it was 30 years old?

Its not going to happen anyone can start a rumour with no grounding to it at all. I doubt this one started anywhere near the Jets staff more likely a journo or you tuber wanting a few clicks.

Please no. I'm not against him coaching again, but I don't want to see the greatest coach in franchise history damage his legacy by getting involved with THAT joke of an organization. Bears or Bucs I could see him doing well with.

I have a really hard time believing this and how would anyone know? Is the GM telling people he wants Pete? Doesn’t seem likely as last cycle Pete was looking to coach and no one interviewed him.
