Yeah he was a headcase early on, but dude has really turned his life around. Would love to see him here.

It'd probably be cheap as hell to trade for him, at least compensation-wise. As for the personality stuff, I was under the impression that he had largely defeated all that.

1. His cap number the next three years would be 7.7, 8.1, 8.5 million.
2. He counts 9.575 against the cap for the Bears this year if he stays in Chicago. He counts 13.125 million against the cap if he leaves. Becomes a much more tradeable for Chicago after next year (dead cap space would lower to 3.75 million).

Getting him or Vincent Jackson would be a godsend for our offense.

Perhaps, but he has been making every effort to talk himself out of Chicago. Do you as a team with new GM and HC want to take the risk that he is a disruption your first year with the team? Look how Harvin impacted us earlier this season.

I think he will be dealt or an outright cut in the next 30-60 days.

I'd love to have Marshall. But I hate the idea of paying full price for Marshall in his prime. Hopefully we can get him on a cheap rental for a few years if he's interested in chasing a title. Otherwise I don't really see it happening. Rather spend the money on Suh if he's really going to be in play...

He got a bit of followers, but I've never even heard of this dude. Hope he's right though and everything goes through though.

Those arent big cap hits at all for the Seahawks to take on. You could possibly restructure the deal to add another year to lower the cap hits but give him a new signing bonus = more gauranteed money for him.

Baldwin and Kearse move down to be the #2 and #3 WRs where they should be. Then you cut Miller and let Willson and Helfet continue to progress. The offense would be light years better than last year assuming Lynch returns.

First of all, they would never trade for Marshall at his current contract. He's a negative asset at that cap figure, that's why the Bears are considering cutting him.

Your title should be "Marshall could end up on Seahawks if cut?" Or something of that that nature. I could see them signing him to a contract similar to that of what they offered Steve Smith (reportedly around 5-6 M).
