Despite all RW did at NC State for 3 years, the then coach managed to find a way to "get ride" of RW, at a time when that program could have competed for bigger things ... The coach who had RW for years ... still didn't believe in him enough and got him to walk out of that program.
My point is, it takes a coach with strong character and convictions to believe that an unconventional 5ft10 QB can lead you to the promise land. I'm convinced that the current management of the Redskins would still select RGIII over RW.
If you want proof, just listen to the National Media experts, whenever RW (or the Seahawks) have a sub-par game. Following the win at St Louis, most analyst were already jumping off the Hawks bandwagon ...
