Fair enough. I was at the stadium blasting your precious Geno while he was throwing pick after pick. Including one that was an EASY pick 6, but he got bailed out by butterfingers defender, AGAIN.
Then he stepped up at the end, finally
So, touche'

But Myers missed 3 all year, and now he's a head case? Come on
Meanwhile, I told everyone in our section that he was going to get another chance, and he did. And he got the GAME WINNING KICK

I didn't say he was a head case. I said he was at high risk of becoming one. He got another shot, but it was a chip shot. I'm still a little worried that he seems automatic until the pressure is on.

Every one of those big missed kicks is a potential psyche-breaker. We've seen it before. Walsh had a big hand in costing them that 2017 season, and he developed the yips bad after his miss in Minnesota. Was really good prior.

He also had a super iffy 2021.

Also, my "precious Geno?"

I've criticized the guy when he plays bad. Get outta here with that narrative you've been hanging on since preseason. One of us was proven slightly more right than the other on that count.

Ok, good point.
He missed 3 ALL SEASON. Risk of becoming a head case because he missed that FG? Come on
We haven't even talked about Myers all season. That is the sign of a good kicker. He wasn't chosen to go to the Pro Bowl on accident. Geno should have 4 or 5 picks in that game. But...but.....he's a pro bowler. Zero worry about Myers, zero.

This sure didn't age well. Dramatic much?
The exact reason the gameday forum exists is to be dramatic. We post on it while we are watching the game...similar to being in a sports bar with friends. Of course there are over reactions...that's what makes it unique and fun. Looking back on it and laughing at posts that were typed during the game while you have the benefit of hindsight does what exactly?

But to this thread...My statement the guy is a headcase stands. Laugh all you want. Like I said in my previous comment, the guy was cut by us, the next year goes to a pro bowl with the Jets, we resign him and he has the worst year of his career. Then he bounces back and has a couple of good seasons. That is not opinion but fact. No consistency.

He's had a great year this year...still doesn't change the fact that most kickers are nut jobs that have up and down years and cannot be fully trusted.

Fair enough. Jason Myers is now a Head Case because he missed his 3rd FG all season. Then made the game winner.
Got it
