Yeah, they don't highlight pressures on the talking heads shows, but they're almost as good as sacks as they lead to skittish QBs who make errors.
And for those infatuated with sacks, why not mention that our DTs have 4.5 through 3 games. Edge pressure cause QBs to step up into the pocket.

4.5 in 3 games is not enough. That's only in the 20's extended to the whole season. My lower limit for sacks if you want to make the playoffs in in the 40's.

Willing to put this out here even though I’m sure it will get torn to shreds.

K9 was out there too long imo. When we started to stick mainly to run plays, he shouldered most of the load. With Charbs out, I get it but…

Also - this will definitely be ‘unpopular’…I would’ve gave Locks minutes to Milroe. I think there would’ve been more value in doing so…developmentally speaking.

Not complaints…this is like complaining that you have to pay taxes after you hit the Powerball.

Today made me moist. Real moist. I just watched the game again and got moister.

I wouldn't. In all practicality Lock is the backup and he needs reps in this offense just in case sh*t. Milroe needs to focus on improving his technique and learning the offense before anything else. Even Mahomes only played 1 game his rookie year

I can respect that.

With the lead we had, I think it would’ve been a great opportunity for the rook.

Drew has quite a few starts under his belt. But…from the prospective of Sam going down, I understand where you’re coming from.

The run blocking has to get better, and i think it will. NO stacked the line to stop the run and make Darnold beat them, which he did like a drum.

Part of the problem with the run game is the play calling could be a little better in my opinion. Mix it up on first downs, more play action , I think we had 2 this game, one on the JSN TD? Stop forcing runs into a 7 man box every 1st down.

If they're stacking the box which they were, run some screens to the backs. Keep them guessing. I know we want to be a running team, but you have to keep the defense honest, which means you have to pass every so often on first downs to back them off the line. You saw some holes start to open up in the second quarter after we hit a couple balls down field.

And Why bring in Milroe to do a QB keeper? Everyone in the stadium knows it's a qb run, how about a pass out of that formation every once in a while. I mean the dude is an actual QB. JMO

Other than that, super pleased with this team so far in all 3 phases. Hopefully we get some starters back and continue to see improvement every week.

The Refs were a bit quick with the flags vs the seahawks yesterday, I mean a few of those penalties were ticky-tack and even the TV announcers mentioned it as pretty weak calls, there's not much you can do when the refs are going to throw a flag no matter how you play... 🙄

Am I the only one who wasn’t too impressed with Lock yesterday? With his experience and the game situation, I thought he would look controlled. He almost tossed a pick, and there seemed to b e quite a drop off.

We are not winning games without Sam. Maybe I’m just over analyzing.

The Saints trying to challange JSN and Horton and Kupp to beat their seconday and their Dline ruffle Darnold, glad they did, other teams will now look at this and think maybe not such a great game plan. I do agree however we need to be able to impose our will running the ball box stacked or not, it does need improvement. But enjoy a day of winning, we did what you are supposed to do to teams that are rated lower then you rather then play down to them, something we had a habit of doing for a while.
