I know Seattle doesn't blitz a whole lot, especially a guy like Stafford, but I would love to see a few blind side blitz attempts early to see if we can get home and set the tone and really make em start sweating early.

Sheed can also feel free to return another kick.

What's your SET the tone fantasy play this week? Offense, defense both?

Time for a flea flicker on the first play? 👌 👏 😍 😆 🤣

I just want our squadron to implement a stomp down so bad that it plagues the McVay LAmbs with irreparable internal strife and heartache. I want them giving interviews finger pointing all spring and summer long until training camp. I want their roided out, peptide snorting ass HC to blow up on a reporter and get hit with a restraining order. I want Punkass Nacua to fire his agent, only to find out that the agent already drafted and drew up the "I'm dropping you" letter. I want Jared Verse to.... I like Verse.. I want him to demand a trade to the Seahawks.

Or I will just settle for a close, injury free W, no matter how it comes, so we can get to Levi's and THIZZ Dance on Tuggjob Kraft's Pats heads.

Frankly, yeah I think it would be awesome if we control the game from the onset instead of vice versa. But Rams will have more recovery time and are better coached with mostly better everything than the 49ers were/are.

I envision it being the dogfight it should between two SB worthy teams in the first half but have a feeling the energy levels will start to drain from the Rams from the 2nd half on.

Also feel MacDonald’s been at least taking notes if not everyone else ever since the Rams vs Falcons game (so 4 games in all) as the scheduling and bye week allowed most of the Seahawks to be able to watch the Rams without really conflicting with day to day preparation.

Rams vs Falcons was MNF and I think the team has Mondays off but it was a shortweek.

Seattle secured #1 seed the next Saturday. Rams/Cardinals were Sunday.

Next week was the bye week, so nothing to really do but stay on mission and dissect your opposition.

Seahawks beat 49ers this last Saturday so were free to watch the Rams/Bears slug it out and got to see even more reps with that game going to OT.

They also got to see the Rams more or less struggle to pull away against 3 of 4 of those teams. The teams they didn’t struggle against was a lowly Cardinals team that had nothing to play for.

And the biggest thing ive noticed about the Seahawks this year is they play all 60 minutes. Teams can go toe to toe with the Seahawks in the first half but by the 4th quarter opponents aren’t on the same level. And some teams couldnt even last the first half of games.

In the last 8 weeks, Rams have had only two home games going 5-3 overall. 2 of those wins were vs the Cards. Then a 7 point win vs Detroit at home. But the other two were 3 point wins vs Bears and Panthers that came down to the wire. Their losses weren’t bad but they hardly look like the juggernaut they were in the first half of the season.

But all that traveling Rams been doing, the extra game played, this last game played in brutal weather and the Seahawks relatively well rested, behind the full frenzy of the 12s cause you dont have to were about the Rams fanbase invading a stadium, and just all that time and opportunity to sit back, watch, and take notes… especially this defense whom probably wants retribution in that last game for giving up 36 points… the feeling to me Rams arent going to be as successful on offense and it will be more like the first matchup, their defense should keep it close in the 1st half but Seahawks will eventually be too much and start pull away in the 2nd half.

We definitely have the "intangibles" advantage. Home field, travel, rest, etc.

At the end of the day, it still comes down to the match ups:

Their OL is good enough to neutralize some of our pass rush. They ran it well on us with Dodson in the last game, until he got hurt and they kind of abandoned the run.

Our one weakness on defense is covering TEs... they like to use heavy tight end sets, and Ferguson is now back and healthy. Parkinson wants to make up for his dropped passes in that last game as well.

They put up 500+ yards last game without Davante Adams. They won't do this again but will still put up yards if there are missed tackles on Puka. Adams is still a major threat in the redzone.

On offense, Kobie Turner owned Zabel the last game. That was probably Zabel's worse game. We will also see if Bradford learned how to handle stunts and not give up instant pressures.

Shula will probably blitz more, especially on 3rd down. Without Zach to pick up those blitzes, we'll what happens here.

They have a good enough pass rush to put pressure on Sam, while disguising coverages to force him into mistakes. Kitchens and Curl has been playing well also.

Their corners can be exploited but we will see...

It's going to be a close game either way.

We need to put pressure on Stafford early. Let him taste some turf.

I think McVay will try to take the crowd out early by going aggressive - ie, deep passes, or going for it on 4th. They will try to take the lead early and force Sam into more passing situations.

So my fantasy first drive is Stafford gets picked off by Woolen, and he returns it for TD.

If they try to go deed and aggressive early and fail they will blow their entire game plan. I love it. 😆 🤣

I was talking to a buddy and we said we wanted the Bears but only after a tough long stressful game. We got the Rams under those circumstances instead.

No need to rattle Stafford, his knees have been shaking just thinking of playing our defense. He might soil himself the second Macdonald stared at him.

Stafford is done, he ain't a factor in this game.

Defensive genius vs Offensive genius. We have seen this before in Super Bowl 48. The tone is to deny the routes and force check downs and tackle hard. Pass rush will hurry those throws. The trick will be handling the motion by the rams and effectively communicating the passing off of WRs or TEs to help. But I think it all starts with coverage that denies the routes and then communication to not get beat deep. I think if Ernest Jones has a great game that is a sign that the Seahawks are winning.

The bears had some success with blitzes out of the secondary and my immediate thought was, Spoon would be perfect for some of these plays.
