Rams win in hindsight

I keep hearing about how Seattle "played down" to the Rams and Bucs. It's hard to argue the point concerning Tampa since they're winless. However the Rams are not a bad team, as witnessed by the complete drubbing they handed the Colts yesterday in Indianapolis. Much like the criticism the Hawks received due to the narrow win over Carolina on the road yet the Panthers just stuck it to the Niners at the Stick (ahhhh hahaha). Both those victories look much better later on when you see more about what those teams are made of.

And I still say that Tampa is a decent team that is horribly coached - I wouldn't be shocked to see them beat Miami tonight, and also wouldn't be shocked if they beat Atlanta next week.....having said that, about the only other game I see them winning is Dec 8th against the Bills because the rest of their schedule is STACKED.....

The whole " this team is better than that team because that team beat the other team " concept is the lazy mans analysis. Even the bucs aren't as terrible as most would say, they have been on the brink of a few surprising upsets this year.

Tampa has too many really good players to be considered an awful team. They took New Orleans to the brink earlier this year with Freeman, and Glennon has played better since. St. Louis has been both overrated and underrated at various points this season. However, those edge rushers are just consistenly a tough match-up for Seattle, and divisional battles are always tough.

Rams are really inconsistent but could be a playoff team if they played week in week out like they did against the Colts/Texans.

Bucs suck, our game vs them was the perfect storm of them playing their best football, capitalizing off some huge early plays, and getting a little bit of help from the refs/us along the way. Sometimes in the NFL those games will happen, luckily for us it was against the Bucs.

The Rams at home last game of the season should be a good divisional fight, It could have a lot to do with seedings, tie breakers, and who the W.C. teams are. the rest of the NFC besides us, N.O. and the 49ers could be sitting around 500. Like if the Playoffs started today. the 9ers and Panthers would be the Wildcard teams with the Cards 1 game out. Hopefully we will have Clinched both the NFC West and HFA by then.

A friend of mine is optimistic about the Rams game. He thinks they have a chance if they can gel together. It depends on what the status of the division is and whether we have HFA by then. Of course, then we may have our second string in to beat up on them too. With all due respect to Ram Fans of course.

Look at the Rams losses though - to a healthy Falcons team, to a fired up Niners team coming off of their first 2 game losing streak under harbaugh, to a Cowboys team that we all know can beat anyone on their day, to a solid Panthers team, to the best team in the league, and then to the Titans (but in fairness, they never stood a chance on a short week after playing us).

Yes, we played TERRIBLY in that game, but to still pull out the win tells you more about this team than anything else we've done this season

The other problem with the RAMS next year is, they can't keep all their Free Agents, because they need to continue to pay Bradford Big money.
