The 49ers looked semi-competent, especially after the 1st quarter.

The Rams, my goodness. Their defense made Frank Gore look young again. So many blown assignments... The first TD on 3rd and 19 from the 20 yard line says it all, and they gave up another long TD on 4th and 1. If not for the officials helping them out with some clutch calls in the first half, it would have been even uglier.

And their offense was even worse than their defense. This wasn't the 49ers shutting them down. This was the 49ers showing up and not sucking.

Well i could only stomach it through 2 and 1/2 qrtrs. it's apparent the rams running game is non exsistant. i was trying to figure out who there #1 reciever is because none of them can catch a ball. There starting RB is about as bad as i've seen this year.

funny thing is niners think they got their swagger back, they don't realize they only look this good because they rams are that bad..

after watching this game i'm feeling a whole lot better about our upcoming matchups with both teams, neither of them are on our level, not even close at this point.

tonight the bad team whooped up on the really bad team, congrats whiner fans, enjoy.. LOL

Fisher isn't much over .500 for his career. People remember the double-digit win seasons, but they like to forget the double-digit loss seasons. He's a decent coach, but not anything special.

Absolutely. He once got close. But as many years as he's been in the league, once isn't much.

Knowing his preferred style of QB, I was impressed when he passed on Griffin. Now I'm just confused.
