The Rams have been doing this exact thing for a decade now, and have been the second-best team in the NFC over that time (Eagles). I'm done questioning them, I just hope their luck finally runs out.
They were HANDED their last SB. F them.
Can't wait to see this trade fail. They got fleeced. Rams watched us on TV. We didn't need the refs to hand us a SB birth. We kicked the Rams in the teeth.

Let them make those trades, we just need to sign our guys and draft a few. The window is closing in LA again and desperate measures like rule changes, trades that could be looked at as reaches or over paying to counter us. Good thing Mac is already playing his game before McVag has seen the chess board.

That’s an awful move by Les Snead. That’s too much draft capital and now you got to pay him he’s not on a rookie deal.
I don't think they care about having to pay a really good player. It obviously makes their defense better.

I like the trade for the Rams. They keep that roster talented via coaching and developing fringe players into good role starters. It makes sense to trade for premium talents at spots of need when you can keep the roster at playoff contention caliber with cheap, renewable talent.

That's what great development from the coaching staff does for a team. Frees them up to take shots.

And make no mistake, they've GOT to take shots if they wanna dethrone a team that now has the same advantage in terms of league-leading coaching and front office staff, who just happens to be their division rival who spanked them twice on the way to the Super Bowl.

If the Rams dont want the Santa Clara treatment of seeing Seattle take over their home locker room and hoist a Lombardi on their home turf, they need some more talent and they need it pronto.

Really do love this move for them. It aint gonna be enough, but I think it's smart. Especially when they're still holding Atlanta's much-better top pick.

Sure, but Darnold toyed with that defense. Twice!!! I just can’t roll the dice with that much draft capital tbh that’s bad business. McDuffie isn’t a generational talent. He’s good but so is Josh Jobe. KC fans are ecstatic

Yes!! This is their desperate attempt to neutralize JSN. That's a steep price
They must have seen #29 as a 2nd, a 3rd and two day 3 picks, but the cost against the cap.
Loading up for one last shot with Stafford and the SB being played in their house.

This trade brings back memories of when the seahawks traded for jamal adams. gave up way too much and it was flashy for a season but then didn't end up paying the dividends in the end.

Scariest thing a team can do with their picks is keep them and nail their selections.
