They know their window most likely 1 year and 2 at most so they're going for it. I think its a little much especially in a draft that is deep at that position but I can also see why they're doing it.

Wow. That seems STEEP.
Ikr? Trent McDuffie is a great corner, but that's a lot of draft picks.

But you could argue that McDuffie is as good as Sauce Gardner, and the Colts gave up 2 first round picks for him.

In my opinion, I think they both gave up too much.

Well, now they got a cornerback. Does he play special teams too? So much for the two 1st and a qb...

I imagine there will be some hand wringing over this by rams fans.

The Rams always take big swings when they think they are close. They'll throw everything at this season in Staffords last hurrah.

I picture McVey as a mad scientist sitting up at 2am studying film on the seahawks and working on every, each way how to beat them.

Will be fascinated to see if they improve special teams. While their secondary had weaknesses it held up mostly okay against us. Special teams cost them multiple times though.

The fact that Chiefs fans are cheering this trade should give the Rams pause. Some Chiefs sites are saying McDuffie was overrated. He had a good year in 2025, but was pretty average in 2024, giving up 62 completions on 102 targets and 11 penalties.

This trade is definitely a reaction to the year JSN had. What's their next move, signing Shaheed?

Work with a few Chiefs fans and they said while he's great, he lost a step last year but played mostly in the slot. Seem surprised at the compensation.

I wonder if this creates any sense of urgency for the seahawks in getting another edge rusher in. I think that could be the difference in shutting down Stafford (and woolen not being there to be a bonehead)

On the other hand, I suppose this takes them out of the Woolen market. Overpaying for Woolen would have been the ideal scenario,
i'M guessing it also takes them out of the Crosby market.

Guessing the 49ers make a big swing next. Also in the death throes of their current window.
