If he hadn't fumbled which the referees had nothing to do with, would u be talking about this like the redskins got robbed? It had no impact on the game, they converted anyway. If the same thing had happened without a fumble this would be a moot point.

Uhhh no. That was completely unacceptable, and it changed the game.

of course it was unacceptable. But it seems like they're giving garcon a complete pass for losing the ball and putting it all on the officials

let me rephrase that. It did have an impact on the game. But not as much as they're making it out to be

If its 3rd down he doesn't have to force the ball into traffic?

That down and distance would have never occurred. The play probably would not have been called.

Garçon really pussied out there though, I agree on that. I thought Collinsworth really laid into him too.

he might've after the break when I flipped it off, but not immediately after the game.
Garcon is getting a complete pass after being the one who ultimately cost his team the game. Not to mention the rest of their WR core who seemed to be allergic to catching the ball

Garcon was mentally checked out of that game for the 4th quarter. 2 drops and that fumble. Any play to Garcon was asking for badness.

But a head ref not having control of his team for any portion of the game, let alone a critical 4th quarter 2 minute drive? What is this, the PAC 12? That was amateur hour. If the golden touchdown vs Green Bay was a catalyst to bring back regular refs, this shit job should be a catalyst to get rid of some of these old ass refs who just plain suck.

triplette has always been terrible. THere are some just plain awful crews, his, levy, that ref that picked up the flag in the NE CAR game. NFL needs to clean it up big time

We need full time refs that put in as many hours a week as PC/js.

You'd be happy if they just glossed over a (another) glaring officiating error that damn near screwed a team out of a chance to tie the game?

Things like that need to be called out in this league, I'm glad they focused on it.

That last turnover was unacceptable. He had the ball, and just gave it away. That was bigger than the officiating gaffe, although that was terrible as well. The last bit of the game was just poor.

I guess I couldn't care less about what they say about a DC receiver since the poor officiating affects us as Hawk fans far more than Garcon getting a pass.

How do you make this list without Carey's crew being mentioned?

Losing that fumble was ridiculous. However, if the officiating would have been handled correctly, that play would have never happened. Every play affects what happens next. Except for maybe some scripting at the start of each game.
