Mike Clay recently did a ranking for each position group for each team in the NFL. Because it's a slow news week, I thought I'd post the position ranking for each team in the NFC West.
It's a very flawed analysis; he underestimates our roster at QB, OL, EDGE, and CB but over-values our RBs, safeties, and linebackers. He's equally blind to the 49ers' strength, ranking them at 17 at edge rusher, 24 at QB and 26 at OL.
He's really not impressed by the Rams or Cardinals at most of the positions, for good reason. The article itself is behind a paywall, which is why I made the above chart. (You're welcome.)
