Has anyone ever said anything negative about Poona Ford? I like the kid but damn he gets a lot of hype around here for a guy that really hasn't done anything.

Guess you have not watched the game or know what he is suppose to do to make a statement like that. Maybe a football 101 class is in order.

I expect and am excited to see Poona do more than just run stop. He may not knock down a bunch of balls but he can shed blocks and chase down people who have the ball, whoever that may be.

IIRC, Poona was getting some good penetration. He's short, so he gets good leverage, but he has a good wingspan so he can push off blockers. Hopefully, he can use that to bat down some balls, too, though I don't recall him playing on a lot of passing downs.
