Heard the question asked on KJR, "has your expectations for the season changed since the team was 0-0 heading to Carolina, now that the team is 7-1"?

For me, they have actually gone up, I feel like we are definitely seeing championship football from the Hawks. Does this seem crazy, sure I bet many would say so. The fact is, this is the NFL, you CANT expect ANY team to go on the road, against a division foe, on Monday night football, and blowout anybody. With that said, every team has played 110% against the Seahawks all year! they want to prove they are capable of beating the so called "best team in the NFL".

In Carolina, they shut our run game down, we won the game passing.

In Houston, they shut our passing game down, we won rushing.

And in St. Louis, they shut our offense down, we won with extraordinary Defense.

You think any one of the Seahawks phases of football is finished for the season?? HELL NO!! These guys are just getting started. ALL THE WAY 12s, cheer-up if you need it. We are 7-1 for the first time ever, and we can beat you in just about every way anyone can think of.

I think we will get HFA and make the Super Bowl, BUT, that is dependent on getting Breno and Okung back. Of course our OL wasn't exactly lights-out before they both got injured, but if we can just get the unit to "league average", then we should be ready to rock.

My Expectations have not gone down even with how these games have played out. What ppl forget to see is that even CHAMPIONSHIP teams have these games and win. Its on the other end that even when we play like dog poop we still win. And that on top of the talent and everything else is reason to celebrate not nit pick.

My expectation was to bake it to the nfccg. I didn't think we could get homefield, with the way we have paid my expectations are the same. A Sb is likely but we have got to start putting it together.

None of the options really fit my view.

My expectations haven't changed, and they were always that I expected the team to win double-digit games and make a strong run in the postseason. Once you get to the postseason, anything can happen, so I don't really have any expectations regarding the SB. I feel that this team has a very good shot at progressing further than last year, up to and including a SB win, but I don't *expect* that due to the uncertainty of the postseason.

I still think we are destined this year. The Rams game was a REAL wake up call. There WILL be adjustments moving forward until we get Okung and Giaco back. I have to believe that.

I know this question can be took optimistically or pessimistically, but I submit that we need a "sky is falling" emoticon created.
