Every fan suffers from the dreaded case of "Butthurtitis" after a loss. Some have a really bad case, almost crippling. Symptoms include, violent hyperbolism, mood swings, and the sub-diagnosis of "TheSkyIsFallingitis". Depression, anxiety, feelings of grief and loss.

At some point and time as a Seahawks fan, I have probably experienced all of those. Now? I would have been happier with a win. Now, I’m just of the mindset of please get this shit fixed as soon as possible. The thing that pisses me off the most about yesterday was the number of digit fans in the stadium. We had a couple of overly drunk obnoxious ones seated in front of us. Enjoy your win but don’t be a ******* asshole the entire game and after.

Ugh, obnoxious fans of the opponent are the worst. There's a reason many end up in fist fights or worse.

I am just cranky that they are ruining a perfectly good day/evening where I should be happy and celebrating, taking in the sweetness of victory. Instead, no sitting on the porch smoking a cigar, enjoying a nice beverage with my Seahawks porch lights on full peacock display. No wanting to watch any post game shows, interviews, nothing.

After winning a Super Bowl, I thought I would be a lot more aloof, but truth is, I still get plenty fired up if the team is sucking on the field. So much so I haven't watched a combined entire game in the past 3 games because my BP gets too elevated.

I miss the celebratory release of dopamine and endorphins after a win.

Help me remember the feeling Hawks!! It's fading awaaaaaaaaay............

I'm cranky.

Not because I don't think there's hope or I don't like the head coach. I just hate the stylistic direction of the team, especially with regards to how the rest of the NFL is going.

We need to run the goddamn ball. It's becoming a running league, honestly. The lip service tough-guy "we wanna run the ball" act is a smack in the face when we come out passing the most in the NFL and like 12% more than the next closest team.

So yeah, I'm cranky. I think we have some good coaches that are playing a style of football I'm philosophically opposed to. I don't think they'll taste much success unless they change it up and pronto.

If Grubb can't get a handle on balancing the run/pass by year end, he needs to be one and done and we need to look at someone like Hank Fraley or Aaron Kromer.

I found the cure long ago. In an expected loss I simply put money on the other team. Yes, I wish we would have won and think there are some things that need to change but the extra money from the losses tempers my post loss blues.

I had to work today, so I don't have any feelings one way or the other on last nights outcome. Not going to let the Niners ruin my day, lol.

I stopped letting Seahawks football define my mood years ago. There used to be a time where I would literally be fighting mad after a loss.
I realize how stupid that was now.

Plus... this season I did not have any expectations. I do not really care what their final record is, I just want to see definite improvements over last year in all, or most, areas. Nothing to get too excited for yet... but the season isn't even half over yet.

I picked 3, yeah I'm a bit cranky over that game for sure. I was looking forward to it all day and it was a gigantic letdown for sure. I'm 36 now, I have an 11 year old, 8 year old and a baby who will be 2 in January. My older boys and wife and I were going through the same emotions the entire game.. And you know what? Even though we lost, it was fun to watch it and how we all had the same reactions. It's a rookie head coach who is learning how to call a game with his players playing 3 games in 11 days. The fact I finally got my whole family involved with the Hawks finally is amazing to me lol. Hell yeah I was grumpy, but only to myself. I never want to make it to where the kids don't want to watch a football game with me again.
