What's the turf like?? I heard its plays soggy and slow. Anyone think that's going to nullify the speed element in this game? I heard that its going to be in the 20's for Sunday night...icy?

Weather forecast for Sunday is Hi 50 Low 31 sunny/clear so I doubt the field will be frozen. Since it is real sod it will slow things down which in effect shortens the field which imo plays to Seattle's defense strength. As teams get close to the redzone vs us we get better. That is why we are number 1 defense based on PPG.

The Redskins have a natural grass turf so its pretty beat up. Especially at mid field.

Weather should be low 40s by game time. The field is crap tho. More like painted potting soil.

I wonder if they have the underground heating system which contributes to more muck on the field?

yes . . . FedEx is heated by underground thermal units to keep the playing surface at 70 degrees (the ground, not the air)

Thankfully the College season is basically over, so there wont be 4 other Div 2 & Big East games played on the weekend.
