Unfortunately, it's pretty crowded at SS. Jacob Wilson, Jeremy Pena, and Bobby Witt Jr are all having even better seasons than JP, and that's just in the AL.

To me, his play this year is all star level, or extremely close to it, but again, it's just too crowded with really good players at the SS position for JP to actually make it.

I feel like JP has that value to our team and star power, gotta get him in there

Actually, now that I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised if IndyHawk has me on ignore. He got awfully butthurt a couple times at how critical I've been of Dipoto over the past year and half or so.
