Kenny Easley talked candidly about not being excited to be drafted by the Seahawks and how he wanted to go to a contender to win championships.

1981 Draft.
#2 NY Lawrence Taylor
#4 SEA Kenny Easley
#8 SF Ronnie Lott

1981 AFC defensive ROY
1983 AFC defensive POY
1984 NFL defensive POY

I think it would be a little much to hope Emmanwori's level of play could equal Kenny or Kam's. Not saying he couldn't become a great player or a probowler, but a lot is going to depend on his dedication and how bad he wants it.

Who would you rather start at ss on the seahawks all time v0 fulh2diqqzkc1

I absolutely believe that Nickolas is going to come in with a chip on his shoulder, and kick some NFC West ASS and prove that he was disrespected by teams that he deems should have taken him seriously for a round one consideration.

I just watched this, and I absolutely loved it. From touching the Seahawks helmet, to ironically wearing a blue and green hat (non-Seahawks) on the day he got drafted...I absolutely loved it and it's worth the time.

There were a few hats in the video, 1747804429851

Look at the new era logo. There’s a Seattle hat there. 2nd row from the left behind the oil sticks 2nd hat from the back. Neon-ish green New Era Logo. That’s Seattle’s

Also to everyone else please keep the thread on topic. This bouncing around and have a few pages about other players ie Milroe… even I forgot what thread I was in lol

Yeah I was like...his old man is rich or something?
Pretty sure it's common for projected high draft picks that the family or agent rents out a huge house for draft day, especially with all the cameras and people invited. You can tell on that draft video they're in a different house on day 2.

It may be common but I never knew that's how it works.

Didn't know about the renting out of a huge house thing.

I think it's become more common as the draft is about the entertainment value of it and needing space for the camera crews and whatnot. You see a lot of the draft videos of the 1st round picks in these huge mansion homes with no personal decorations or pictures on the walls and then you see video of the late rd picks and you can till they are in a lived-in home, like at their parent's house.

Even in the draft video shared, Nick Emmanwori mentions they "got another good house" for Day 2 of the draft after he wasn't drafted Day 1.

I know Emeka Egbuka rented out a historic castle in Steilacoom. I tried looking it up so I guess it was Thronwood Castle. But I don't know for sure. My brother knows him and was invited but he didn't go.
