While D. Law is my overall DMVP and has been ever since the Bucs game he missed.
By my own eyes, Emmanwori’s impact is evident, first and foremost, his presence has camouflaged Woolen’s lack of physicality and want to at times allowing Woolen ever since he came back from his concussion the opportunities to more than less to stick to his strengths with his excellent coverage.
Secondly, not hating on Witherspoon because he’s a heart and soul player who gives everything he got but he by all means can be considered an elite football player that just lacks elite physical tools both in size/length and athleticism. And those faults leave opportunities for Spoon to be mismatched against at times whether or not he does everything right. Emmanwori is elite in both facets and can be utilized much better than Spoon can in certain situations, certain chess matches.
Emmanwori already is as much of a monster going downhill as any defender under 225 pounds. The moment his coverage instincts are fully developed and he fully understands his responsibilities and can start mimicking routes with ease, he is going to be one of the most feared defenders in the league. His ceiling is potentially the very best of Woolen and Spoon combined into one player.
