This is literally one of the worst calls I've ever seen; I'm just thankful that it didn't impact the outcome of the game. Only the outcome of our power rankings.

I'm not talking about small penalties. I'm not talking about 5-10 yard PI penalties. But when QBs just throw the ball up for grabs and hope for a flag, that's changing the game. Back yourself up with some video evidence.

100% agree! It's amazing that some of the biggest plays in a game are non-reviewable. The entire idea of i is ridiculous. Why can "Judgement" plays not be reviewable? The refs make judgements all the time on reviews --is there enough evidence to overturn, etc.
The only change they need to make is allow EVERYTHING to be reviewable. Coaches have a limited number of reviews, let them make those challenges whenever they want. If a coach wants to challenge a 5 yard penalty, let him do it, lose his review and a timeout in the process.

One of the NFL's biggest arguments against all these types of things is that they're trying to "speed" the games up, yeah right... what do they care, are people really going to tune out of Monday night football because the game lasts for 3 hours and 45 minutes? They just fit more commercials in anyway... If they want to speed the games up stop throwing so many rediculous flags...
why the hell don't they? Furthermore why the hell dont they just have mike Pereira himself do it if he's sitting around on call anyway?twisted_steel2":27q5je9u said:LawlessHawk":27q5je9u said:plyka":27q5je9u said:Hawks46":27q5je9u said:I honestly think that if they're going to throw out a flag on a possible 50 yard reception/interference call, overturn a turnover, or in any way effect a scoring play they should review that penalty.

They could speed it up by handling things like this during commercial breaks too.
Was it last weeks game, they did a tv timeout and commercial break. We come back to the game, and now they decide to start the drama of a challenge and ref review. wtf?
Sheet, we'd never get a call if that assclown was officiating. He was the NFL appologist/propagandist for the fix that was XL*.ClumsyLurk":370so54b said:why the hell don't they?
