Giving up a second round pick for an old LT would be a short sighted, foolish move on the FO's part. Especially since I believe some of our passing woes have to do with the playcalls, combined with a gimpy QB.

Even at this age, joe thomas is still solid. And probably better than sowell is . Team is trying to win now and he still has just enough left in the tank to help them do that. I think its a no brainer to be honest. Give up some picks because cleveland is willing to trade anybody for draft picks right now.

with our luck he would be traded to us and injured by the first quarter of his first game in a seahawks uniform.

I heard on the SI MMQB 10 Things podcast this morning that the Browns are asking for a 2nd round pick. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

What is his contract? I have heard it is not affordable with our cap situation.

I wonder if he would be willing to take a pay cut to play for the hawks.

Gilliam can still be good at times. Sowell is just bad though and unnacceptable. A veteran on the o line will only be a plus .

You can be sure that John and Pete have already discussed this possibility.....more than once. They may have already called to see if the Browns will take a 3rd Rounder for him. John will leave "no stone unturned"!

So dont help the line at all is the solution? 1 player isnt the entire line but 1 player addresses 1 problem.
