I'm pretty sure Pete doesn't want to deal with the hassle of being a college coach nowadays. Especially with NIL. But he would've been a great choice.

I like that UW are doing this with Carroll, BB, John Lynch, Del Rio etc coming in. Great marketing.

I'm hoping being in the Big10 now and getting to go up against Ohio St, Michigan, Penn St etc helps with recruiting. The Huskies tend to recruit great in the skills positions but the Pac12 in general seemed to struggle to keep the premium big boys up front.

They are essentially in one of 2 power conferences now. I think the ACC dies soon and the Big 12 seems a distant 3rd.

What I am waiting to see is if he will be at the VMAC at any point this Spring/Summer/Fall.

I've wondered the same thing but I really doubt he will. I don't think Pete would want to be a distraction or appear to be "that guy" who's trying to upstage his replacement.
